Introducing ZAK Chain

Most blockchains are hundreds of thousands of lines of code. ZAK Chain is the opposite: every moving part of a real blockchain, small enough to read over a coffee.

It has a fixed supply of one billion ZAK, created once in the genesis block. Every transfer is signed with an Ed25519 key and numbered with a nonce, so nobody can spend your coins or replay an old transfer. Blocks are linked by SHA-256 hashes and must meet a proof-of-work target, and nodes gossip with each other and settle on the valid chain with the most total work.

It is not trying to be money. It is a working, honest example of how blockchains actually work under the hood, built for learning and tinkering. Clone it, run three nodes, and try to cheat it. Or start with the interactive walkthrough.
